About
A Legacy Built Over Three Decades
For over three decades, notarial service has been the cornerstone of our practice.
Our vision started in Gibsons in 1990, when Chantal’s grandmother, a real estate agent with a vision, made a decision. After decades in real estate, she retrained as a notary, opened her practice, and built a new career from nothing. She was a visionary with a deep belief in her community and a strong will to act and build rather than wait.
When Liza and Chantal purchased the practice from Chantal’s mother, this pioneering spirit of community, service, and helping families build lasting legacies carries on.
Michelle, Chantal’s mother, brought that same vision to Maple Ridge in 2007, when she purchased a modest practice from notary John Harris and built it into a thriving one—rooted in community and her relationship with her clients. It was the same pioneering spirit her mother had shown in Gibsons, applied to a new town and a new generation.
We are here to be your family’s notaries for now and all the years to come.

When not at work, Liza is in the garden with her dog, August, getting lost in a good book, or serving on the Board of Directors at the Ridge Meadows Chamber of Commerce.

Chantal is a third-generation Notary Public who graduated at the top of her class, achieving the highest overall marks on all Notarial Statutory Exams, earning both the 36th Annual Dr. Bernard W. Hoeter Award and the 16th Annual Professor Robert Reid Award for the highest marks in Property Law.
Chantal specializes in wills and personal planning. Her particular fondness for family history shapes how she works with clients on their own legacies. As a mother herself, Chantal understands what it means to want the people you love protected, not left to chance.
Chantal believes in simplifying complex decisions into a clear, actionable plan, so clients leave her office at ease, knowing their wishes are properly taken care of.
In her free time, Chantal enjoys cooking and hosting friends and family, and getting lost in old family history documents. That same instinct to look after her community shows up outside the office, too, through her involvement with the Rotary Club of Meadow Ridge.
